Seattle Storm Basketball Game
September
We have a lot of fun coming Friday, September 12th when the Seattle Storm plays the Atlanta Dream.

We'll fill the boot to the brim with Colby, Seattle firefighters, Muscular Dystrophy Assiciation, and volunteers during the game.

• $25 provides an annual flu shot for one person
• $100 funds a support group session
• $200 covers a clinical diagnostic exam
• $800 sends a child to MDA summer camp for a week
• $2,000 goes toward purchase of a wheelchair, a set of leg braces or a communication device

MDA supported, Lin Mei and colleagues published this year online in Nature Neuroscience: "Scientists have found that "Backwards"(retrograde) signals coming from muscle fibers to nerve fibers influence nerve fibers profoundly in location and function."
